I'm in the same leaky boat as you. Contacted Dead.net as soon as UPS advised of import fees: after several e-mails, Dr Rhino said all would be well and Dead.net would pay fees. Then UPS attempted to deliver but first wanted the £73.92. I refused, UPS went away, I e-mailed Dr Rhino, awaiting response. Meanwhile Dave's Picks 31 is apparently warehoused in Southampton (about 90 minutes away).
Not the first time this year I've had problems with Dead.net/UPS/Rhino whoever. Ordered the recent Warfield CD: paid customs & admin fees only to receive an empty box. Eventually Dead.net cancelled order, refunded me, and I went to Amazon but never had fees repaid.
Been buying the official stuff from source for 20 years .... never had problems until this year.

My copy of Dave's Picks #31 has been delivered in the UK. It took a couple of e-mails to Dead.net customer service. They must have sorted the charges with UPS because I didn't have to pay anything.

Yes, mine has just arrived today as well, with nothing to pay. The padded envelope in which it came will one day be a collectors' item.
Congratulations to Rhino for sorting out this mess - they did everything necessary to keep in contact, and even had a plan to manufacture and ship out extra copies if needed.I hope everyone else gets their copy, too.
